Thanks for the help! I talked to the Sage since and now have 562 gold coins. Also, I never would have bugged Marion beyond annoyance to sell my last item... although it only netted me a whopping 1 gold piece! I thought the battle scene was fewer steps than dealing with Marion!

I'm out of things to sell. Thought I could go home and hawk some of my belongings. Didn't work and Darius wasn't fooled by black gems and still won't help me yet. There may be sellable items in a room with a hole in the roof. Haven't gotten past the panels yet. Is that where I need to concentrate?
