This clunky entry in the Maciste series makes him the son of the biblical character Samson in the English dub of this film, only to provide some name recognition for English-speaking audiences. The Egyptian Pharaoh is ensnared in the wiles of a Persian queen, and Maciste has to save the day through various incredible feats of strength. It's business as usual for these Italian sword-and-sandal flicks, except that this one uses a lot of extra red paint.
