If you buy games fairly regularly, WoW is pretty cheap. At $15 per month, that's $45 every three months after the first (which effectively costs around $50). The thing is, while I'm playing WoW, I have found I simply do not buy other games.

The way I see it, if you buy one or more games each quarter, then WoW is quite possibly saving you money.
