We went to see a neurologist yesterday to discuss the results of my wife's MRI. We still don't know much, but it seems she has a cyst of some kind in her brain. The doctor was careful to call it a "cyst" and not a "tumor," so I guess that's a good thing. She doesn't think it has anything to do with the seizures, though... those, she says, are probably somehow related to Mrs. G's menstrual cycle. Maybe. She's supposed to keep a written log for a while and write down any symptoms when she experiences them.

The doc is trying to get us an appointment with a neurosurgeon so that we can get a Professional Opinion on her cyst. She's also supposed to get another MRI in three or four months to check on whether it is growing or not. She's never had an MRI before this one, so there's no way of knowing whether this is something new or something that's always been there.

Also, last night my wife cracked her lower right molar while eating popcorn. Two chunks of the tooth broke off and are now sitting in a cup of milk in the refridgerator. She's going to try to get an appointment to see the dentist ASAP. [sigh] I guess you really do start falling apart when you hit 30.
