Saw the neurosurgeon on Tuesday; he prety much confirmed what the neurologist said. The cyst is nothing to worry about; it can't be what's causing Amy's seizures and unless it's growing, going in to remove it would be more dangerous than just leaving it be.

Amy had her EEG test on Friday. We go back to the neurologist on February 7 to discuss the results, and hopefully at that time she'll be able to prescribe something that will get them under control. While they're not supposed to be dangerous, they are much more than a nuisance. The really bad spells can last for upwards of fifteen minutes and usually leave her feeling weak and with a headache the rest of the day.
