Well Scheharazade, I hope you've had a little more success since you posted the above ... Have to say I admire your very thorough approach; testing the alternatives - including getting your character drunk! LOL Very inventive : )

Sadly, I'm not in much of a position to offer advice or help - though i have got a little further ... have met the bunny ( i really thought you'd taken some literary license there, but was proven wrong), have frolicked with the pixies, and chatted with an elf, a charming dwarf and met a none to pleasant troll on a bridge ... oh, and then there's the vicious looking sphinx ... not to mention stumbling across the white tower ... and yet, I remain utterly clueless! but it's fun!
