I suppose I should watch the news more often. I don't know of many Armstrongs.

Louis Armstrong, the musician, was what people would have called "black". As such, I imagine there were situations beyond mere stage fright that might have caused him to give up and hide out for the rest of his life, if he were yellow in the metaphoric sense.

Neil Armstrong, first man on the moon, was "white", as far as I can tell. This is another person who couldn't be yellow.

Herbert W. Armstrong, founder of the Worldwide Church of God, was like Neil, "white". And whatever you say about his theology, anyone who is a vocal proponent of an idea which is contrary to the norm for his stated belief system cannot be "yellow", or his idea will never spread.
