My first reaction to privacy issues is, "well, why are you so worried about the government knowing where you're going?" But I suppose that information could be tampered with by bad people, or by big brother. The only invasion of privacy I've heard of is by parents, who check to see if their kids are *really* just sleeping over at a friend's house, or if they took the toll road down to the city to party.

A big issue in Illinois, which has a separate I-PASS, is that the toll rates are doubled for those who don't have the pass. That sucks in itself, but it is also a form of inter-state taxing, as non-illinois residents can't obtain an I-PASS, but have to pay double tolls. So we're all crossing our fingers that it'll be eliminating due to its unconstitutionality, but I can't imagine that'll be happening anytime soon.
