Are people with A+ blood always smug? Is it because no grade is better than A+? Is there any grade lower than 0+? Well, 0-, I guess.

There is no such thing as an unsinkable ship. Which reminds me (caution: long jump coming). I spent the winter repairing and refinishing my canoe. It looked pretty good when I loaded it on the truck to take it to the pond. It stuck out about two meters beyond the tailgate, so I hung a red flag on the back. The flag came loose and beat the paint off the bow. Oh well.

Have you ever noticed that the seats in a canoe are not equal distances from the ends? If you have two people on board, the one in the back sits on a seat that is only a short distance from the stern, while the other guy sits on one well back from the bow. But with only one on board, he sits on the one that is closer to the center, facingin the opposite direction, and the bow becomes the stern. It's a matter of weight distribution. If a single paddler sits too far back, the front rises out of the water and the canoe become difficult to steer.

And did you know that the paddler in the back of the canoe is really the one who steers?
