One thing I can say for sure, though -- I've NEVER been good enough at canoeing to be the guy in the back. :-)

Another thing you probably know is that if you put the heavy guy in front and the lightweight in the back, the canoe is almost impossible to control.

That stuff about blood type was just a play on how much blood types sound like grades. I'm O+ and my wife is O- and we get along just fine.
