I have to say, there is nothing quite like being in a canoe in the middle of a relatively untrafficked lake, and that includes being in anything with a motor on the same lake.
Going down a fast flowing stream is fun too, but only if you have a car waiting at the take out point. Downstream = fun, upstream = work.
I used to shoot some mild rapids on the Little Tennessee River before they built a dam and turned into a lake. Howard
