The same thing happens when your brain gets the message that there's fat in your mouth. Apparently they did a study where people swished around cream cheese in their mouths, didn't swallow it, but their cholesterol went up.

Your body is just preparing for what it thinks is the inevitable. Too bad most of your organs can't read a label.
