Thank goodness none of those involved you. My mom and I had some similar experiences on our trip to Oregon last year--people pulling out of nowhere is the worst. The other day, I (in my tiny little Ranger) almost got my front end taken off when a Ford Expedition tried to merge into my lane while I was in it. Thank goodness for horns. (Although the Ranger has this not-very-threatening sounding "beepbeep" that sounds like it's saying, "Please don't do that." There's nothing like a spineless car horn.)
