So in Spanish, your name is pronounced "Erick" or something like that? I have a Peruvian son-in-law whose name is spelled "Erick" and his Spanish-speaking friends pronounce it Edrick, I think.

We call Erick's father "George," but he is really Jorge, pronounced Horhay. I think Spanish is a very interesting language.

I was reading about a race driver from South America and his name is Helio that it is pronounced "A le oh."
