Loser characters in Monster Arena?

Why do so many people make loser characters in monster arena? Unlike the site market game where losing the most is also a challange, in Monster Arena for the most lousy character possible you just have to create one, and then never ever do anything with it.. All they do is give free wins to the top players during the fisrt elimination round. Unless of course you are trying to make so many loser characters that your good character will fight one in the elimination round.
