I am more worried about the single death bringer tactic. I lost to a character who used this tactic in the second elimination round. I had gotten about 1000 more gold then he in the qualification rounds, and I had a death bringer half as good as his and still has a good fully equiped party, while his death bringer was the only good thing he had, but because I didn't guess which of his characters had it, and his death bringer attacked my character with my deathbringer (which I bought before that round so he didn't even know I had one). This tactic makes the whole battle depend on luck. You get his death bringer, you win, you don't, you lose. The only thing you could possibly do is view his battle history and see his pattern of passing on the death bringer, but this doesn't work in the 2nd elimination round, especially if he is one of the sleeper loser characters, with no real battle history before the elimination round. The combination of these two tactics is especially deadly, giving a very good possibility of a win in the 1st elimination round, and still quite a good chance to win in the 2nd.
