> Shudders~ Ugh... last year, first semester (lucky I escaped to Polar second) I had the most evil teacher in the world for english. that's all she did... Grammer. and not even practical grammer either... not stuff like you don't say aint never. but sentence structure. All of first semester I did sentence diagraming... that's it... it got so complicated... ~shudders again~ I fear the word grammar now. Can you believe this lady actually put out her own book? A BOOK of sentence diagraming and puctuation worksheets!!! NOOOO!!!!!

I think it is sad that anyone other than an English major would even consider buying this book. If it ever makes the best seller list I may consider moving to some other country where useless fiction is truly appreciated.
Another thing that's great is something I discovered while reading Calvin and Hobbes (*sniff* it's gone now). It's that words do not have a fixed meaning. So, if you change the meaning of words, their's nothing your teacher can do about it. Like the fact that you could make the word "pumpkin" synonomous with good. Through this, English can become an exclusivist code. Isn't it great?
Well, pumpkin day!
