You can't anyway.
In one of the original Smurf books, there's a civil war (or as close as Smurfs can get to one, anyway) over where the "smurf" is actually supposed to go.
"If we smurf it your way, nobody will be able to smurf the difference between fruit cake and fruit salad." "But if we smurf it *your* way, nobody will be able to smurf the difference between blueberry pie and apple pie."
