Hello. I suppose before I get to the point of my post, I should introduce myself. I'm Crystal109. Of course, that's not my real name - call my Crystal, then, because the numbers are just habit, and stupid, but what can a girl do? I've been here for some time, been to RinkChat, and only posted on the Hints Forum occassionally. Yeah, and this is a great site, yada yada yada, I'm sure you've all heard it before and don't need to hear it again.

Okay, now that you... slightly got to know me, here's my question. You know how when you go to a restaurant that has a different nationality sort of thing (for example, Chinese), the waiters and waitresses always seem to know exactly what language you speak? Like, the moment my family and I walked into a restaurant, they spoke Mandarin Chinese to us. However, when another family who looked Asian walked in, they knew - without listening in on the conversations of the family - that that family didn't speak Mandarin, and therefore, they spoke English/American to them. So... how? Are you trained to look at people and figure it out, or is it just one of those things that makes you unique? You in a relative sense, that is.

And if you got totally lost, my apologies, and I usually don't sound so formal. But I am long-winded. Oops...
