Okay, I comfess, I'm not a baseball fan, but even at that I should have known "Sammy who?" As I remember, he is the guy who broke Ruth's long-standing record and was hardly noticed because Mark McGuire broke it a little more.
I think it would be nice if Sosa broke McGuire's new record this season. Nice guys don't always finsh last, and Sosa strikes me as a nice guy.
I noticed that this thread started with stock car racing and almost immediately switched to baseball. Is somebody trying to tell me something? 8>) Ennie how, I want to point out that my pick, Dale Jarrett, would have been the winner if it hadn't been for a couple of highly unlikely errors that resulted in a questionable penalty.
Still, I enjoyed watching Joe* take that Polish victory lap. He really earned it.
