My older sister gave birth today to her first child, a boy, who weighs six pounds fifteen ounces and is twenty inches long. He's named Dennis after his father and grandfather, and since that makes him the third, they're going to call him Tre. For a less-than-twelve-hour-old kid, he was quite calm, quiet, and alert. I've never seen a newborn with its eyes open so much.
