Let's hope. There is a lot of red hair around here. It all comes from my wife's side of the family, but we have a son and a daughter with auburn hair and the other two kids are blonde.
Our blonde daughter was in the beauty parlor the other day having her hair "accented" or whatever they call it when they make it dark and light. The beautician asked her if there was any red hair in the family. It seems that everything she put on her hair brought out red highlights.
My wife is a strawberry blonde and has been ever since we were married 48 years ago. She has never had any color on it it just stays the same. Her mother has brown hair at 87, and the grey is just beginning to show. It must be a genetic thing.
Our blonde son has a red beard. It's hard to believe there is that much color difference on the same head. We never knew what color hair out two first grandchildren would have, because they were bald until after their second birthday. Even our 5-year-old half-Hispanic grandson has auburn hair, but it is getting darker and darker. I guess someday his will be black like his dad's. My hair started out so blonde it was almost white, then went from that to brown to black and it's almost back like it was in the beginning. Howard
