Oil treatment is not going to do much for a leak of that magnitude. Put it on a lift or jack it up and put stands under it. (Never crawl under a car supported by just a jack.)Then get under there and check the bolts around the oil pan to see if they are tight. Loose oil pan bolts are a major cause of oil leaks. If you find several loose ones, tighten only a little at a time, going back and forth from one side to the other. Keep tightening until all are snug, but don't over do it and twist one off. Using a small wrench is the best way to avoid such problems.

Next, look at the oil pressure sending unit. If it leaks, you will probably have to replace it. That's an inexpensive repair and anybody can do it.

If it is still leaking, it might be the seal on the rear main bearing of the engine. Depending on the type of car you have, that can be a really tough job that needs to be done by a professional mechanic and will cost an arm and a leg.

You might want to look in the radiator and see if there is oil in the coolant. That would be bad news.

It's best to check the simple stuff first.

We don't need any more oil on roadways and parking lots.
