I just got back from playing 3 hours of basketball and I already feel like it's the day-after. It was fun, though. I really do need to start to exercise more, sitting around and eating chips just don't cut it.
Well, I enjoyed the basketball games although I was playing with some people who liked to show out. I'm not the "showboat" type, myself. This especially applies to when I'm actually playing a game. When I'm practicing, yeah, I'll dribble between my legs, do a backwards lay-up, maybe even try to do a lay-up under one leg, but NOT during a game. I had someone so bad about this on my team that he made this girl who was keeping score to give the other team a 10 point lead. Not only that, he decided to act really cocky during the next game. I'm sorry, but if you think your good enough to spot the other team 10 points, you better play hard enough to beat them. Well, this didn't happen. But, besides all of that, I met new people and got a decent work out so it was all fun.
Afterwards I had to take a trip to Wallyworld to get some oil for my car because it's leaking at least a half a quart a day, and that's not good. So one of my friends tells me to use a oil treatment and all of this stuff, so I do. Well, in all my excitement of basketball and Wal-mart, I forget that I told the girlfriend that I would come to her house and finish watching Final Destination 2 with her since we started it last night and didn't finish it. Oh, did I mention that I didn't call her to let her know that I was playing basketball.... that's not good. But anyways, I told her that I would go to her Freshman orientation in the morning, at 9 o'clock, at the college that I'm attending, so I think it's all good.
Also, I looked at the pictures from RU4 and I must say that's it's great to finally put some faces to these names I keep seeing. I hope that all of you keep in touch and continue this Rinkdition that ya'll started. And with that said, I must leave you. It's great to have a place to write down what's on your mind and have people who will actually "listen" to what you have to say. Kind of like my own little journal. I just don't keep up with it like Howard does.
