When I first read this, I thought you were saying something different. When the flag is displayed horizontally, of course the stars should be in the upper left hand corner. That's the whole design of the flag. But I see it displayed a LOT, hung from buildings vertically, or on its side. And even then, the stars are in the upper left hand corner, which to me seems wrong. You'd have to flip the flag upside down, with the correct side facing the building, to get the stars there, instead of just turning it 45 degrees to the right, putting the stars in the upper right hand corner, and the front side facing out.
Am I nuts? Wait. Better question, am I right about this issue? Seeing it backwards drives me batty.
