Well then here's a question back at you: if we did such a site, would you be willing to submit your own works? The ones you're most embarrassed to admit to writing? One of the ideas I thought of that could make a site like this work would be if it had a "reader submission" area, where writers could submit their own early, unpublishable embarrassments. (I second guessed myself, of course, because I can't imagine how many such people would be out there and willing to go along with it.) If you were willing, I'd be more inclined to get going on the project myself. :-)

That's right; I had forgotten you'd read that. No, we're talking upwards of four to seven years earlier than that. I still have a great deal of pride in that one, and it's perhaps one of the more publishable of my stories, although I don't know who would buy it.
