The Sword Bearer and Gaal the Conquerer, I think... although we lost the last one and they're out of print, which is sad.... and at the end, he makes a reference to another one he's going to write.... but he still hasn't arg. but, yeah, i really liked those books. > > uni"i always wanted to be Lisa"peg
No, I never realized that there were other entries in the series. Too bad they're out of print; I'd like to read them sometime. Maybe Amazon.com can dig up a copy somewhere.
Another bit of "Christian fiction" that I really like is Walter Wangerin's The_Book_Of_The_Dun_Cow and its sequel, The_Book_Of_Sorrows. The characters are all animals, so it has a passing resemblance to Watership_Down or Animal_Farm, but with a different style. Both books are quite poignant, and Wangerin has a degree of insight into the human heart (these animals are very "human") that makes for very satisfying reading. He's also written books of essays / short stories / parables, among which I recommend _Ragman_ especially.
