A couple of years ago I re-read The Tower Of Geburah, and found it somewhat annoying, since by that time I had taken classes in Biblical Hebrew and Greek, and realized that many or most of the characters and place-names in the book were simply Hebrew or Greek words transliterated into English. Don't know why this annoyed me the way it did; the books themselves aren't bad, although many people would probably think of them as Chronicles-of-Narnia rip-offs.

hm, interesting, i never knew that... have you read the last two? The Sword Bearer and Gaal the Conquerer, I think... although we lost the last one and they're out of print, which is sad.... and at the end, he makes a reference to another one he's going to write.... but he still hasn't arg. but, yeah, i really liked those books.
