It was pretty darn good. The highlight was yesterday - my best friend got married. She and her husband both belong to the Greek Orthodox church, so the wedding ceremony was like nothing I'd ever seen. Literally the only thing from the common mental image of 'wedding' that actually showed UP in this heavily traditional ceremony was the fact that the bride and groom kissed at the end. There was lots of prayer, and chanting in Greek and English, and the bride and groom did not say a single word. It was really fascinatingly different.

The reception, of course, was mad leet fun. ;) I did not catch the bouquet (unfortunately) but the food was excellent, the wedding cake was the finest cake I've EVER had, and I even got dragged out on the dance floor to make a pathetic attempt at Greek dancing. It was really cool.
