She and her husband both belong to the Greek Orthodox church, so the wedding ceremony was like nothing I'd ever seen. Literally the only thing from the common mental image of 'wedding' that actually showed UP in this heavily traditional ceremony was the fact that the bride and groom kissed at the end. There was lots of prayer, and chanting in Greek and English, and the bride and groom did not say a single word. It was really fascinatingly different.
