desperate decisions

People keep asking for advice on everything from hair color and bicycle trips to computer problems.
I have a *real* problem and decision time is coming soon. I've got these two sisters, one in California and the other in Massachusetts, and they have cooked up a trip to Scotland. One is a widow and the other is taking her husband. They want my wife and I to join them and make it a party of five. It's a ten day tour. Wait, I'm getting to the problem. Anyway, it's a trip that we have been wanting to take for a decade and here comes a great chance. However... (I hate howevers)the date for the tour is the same as the date for the Southeastern Cushman Club fall meet. I went last fall, when it was at the same place, and it was a blast. On top of that, I have a string of SECC meets going and haven't missed one since 1996. At two meets a year, that's a string of 13 meets. It's probably not a record, but that isn't the point. What should I do? I mean besides wring my hands and grit my teeth until September.
What if I commit for one, and it falls through and it's too late to switch to the other?
Howard
