i know, i know, where i work wasnt on the exact spot where the eclipse would be 100%,
but still, i think the whole thing is too much commercialized and the media-attention was too much.
(like you said, in 2 weeks time everything else seem to be forgotten)
Like...the rush for glasses, you knew that, even when the normal eclipse-glasses were sold out, people rushed to the Iron-shop where they bought glasses meant for welding goggles!?!
It was crazy!
