I just recently heard [don't know if it's true] that it was at 2:11am our time, so I have an excuse for not seeing it, besides the fact that it's too dark to be seen even if I did manage to stay awake. Also, that some of the hype was that the planets were lined up in a cross or something... I'm not sure. Did anyone else hear anything like that? Not that I exactly follow astrology, but it'd still be interesting. > > Chr"ah, the passage of time"is
Planets? I dont know anything about planets... I know that the Eclipse means that the moon is standing between the sun and the Earth (the earth being the only planet involved), so that there is no sunshine anymore on the Earth :(
At least for a few minutes...
I dont think you can see it at 2am your time, cos its night then and there is no sun to be blocked :)
Anyway, it was only visible, starting from the South of England, to something like India... The States werent part of it, sorry
