On a more serious note...

I think the problem here is that you're expecting faith to be something humans can come to on their own with rational or logical arguments. But when you've got God involved- who is above and beyond our concepts of logic and rationality- you can't use the same approach as everything else.

Faith comes from God if you are open to it. It doesn't come from any reasoning you're capable of. Faith doesn't come from reading Bible verses, and it certainly doesn't come from being preached at. God gives you faith, and once you have it, everything else falls into place.
