> Not at all. Baptism is a symbol of what relationship with God is already established. I was baptized in 1989, I think, which would have made me 15 years old. That kind of tangible public declaration of faith was something I was pleased and honored to do. I think I would have appreciated that more a few years later, but the significance was not lost on me. But as far as my relationship with God goes, I don't think there was really any change at all, except for being something I could do to nurture it.

Same with me, except I was baptized last fall.
