Here are some tips for making great PB&J sammiches.
1. Skip the jelly and add chocolate syrup.
2. Put peanut butter on both slices of bread and put M&M's in the middle.
3. Glue thin slices of banana to the PB with apple jelly. Always use whole wheat bread with this one.
4. Peanut butter and orange marmalaid. Sour dough bread helps but isn't absolutely necessary.
5. Peanut butter and apple jelly with slices of fresh strawberries.
6.PB&J with celery sticks. Good with grape jelly, but apple works better for some people.
7.PB&J on buttermilk bisquits.
And now for number eight, the ultimate PB&J: (drum roll) 8. Slice a sourdough roll, the kind used to make subs, and apply peanut butter to both sides. Add strawberry jam, and grape jelly. Slice a banana so that you can completely cover one side. Sprinkle M&M's over the other side. The small ones work best. You can also add a few peanuts. A thin smear of chocolate syrup on the bananas is recommended, but not mandatory. Serve with a root beer float.
