Makes sense to me, but after reading what your post, I'd guess it'd be too insanely difficult to do it with a sorcerer or a wizard. If it were only mildly insanely difficult, I'd go for it, but life's just too short for everything. I might just try it with a knight, though.

Granted, but with a single party member, would it be easier than with a spellcaster? It seems to me that it would. In any case, I don't see any way it would be nearly as easy as using a knight.

The first noticable problem will be the lack of light spells and COMPASS; easily fixed with some magic items (or previously obtained MAPs and a good sense of direction). On the lower levels, you'll suffer for not FLOATing - *never* leave Teralt without an Information Highway. In the higher-middle levels (seven and eight, in particular) you'll *really* feel the lack of spells. On these levels, a well-timed QUAKE can be invaluable, but you'll have to muscle it through. Feasible at a high enough level, but difficult. >
I think I can overcome most of those, since I have nearly complete game maps now. The rest I'll just have to be patient with.

Much appreciated, though.

Cool. But I don't have your address. Can you email it to me?

Probably not, even if I had tried. It took me over *fifty* thousand moves to win with a standard six-member party, and nearly four full days of playing.
