Rogues can also use better equipment. > > On the other side of the coin, rogues lack a few of the wizard's advantages: FUMES, EPIDEMIC, and, most notably, RESTORE. I think, without the knight's sheer power (and without the heaviest equipment), massive number of hit points, and improved attack ability, the rogue will be at a severe liability compared to the wizard, - the rogue fights two-thirds as well as a knight, the wizard one-third. That, a small increase in equipment quality, and an increased rate of advancement (since rogues gain experience for opening chests) are all the rogue has to put up against the wizard's arsenal of magic. So, no; I think the wizard is probably better off the the rogue.
One third, two-thirds, half -- where are you getting all of these statistics? Did Sam reveal to you the inner workings of the game, or did you make ratios based on the best WC for the characters, or did you keep detailed statistics, or are you just making all this up? I'm very curious, and confused.
