How is "boatpeople" better than "immigrants" when typing? Both have ten characters, and at least immigrants has a double letter in it, surrounded by a repeated letter.

By the way, Canada has a very similar policy about refugees (the processing and such) but I don't think we have anything like detention camps. Unfortunately, I know next to nothing about how our system actually works, so I can't help you, really.
