You know, I have no idea why I post stuff when I know someone is going to start yelling really loudly at me, and then I'll feel embarrassed. It must be some kind of weird reaction. So, now I'll post my usual "Oops, what a darned silly thing to do apology message".

Dave: Good point. Yes, indeed, "Defend America" is what they do, I wasn't complaining about .mil, I was just interested, and what I was really laughing at was the fact that the site looked like an online magazine - something like the "ladies' Home Companion" - only with the Army instead.

Brunnen-G: Sorry, you are one of the Big Three. Or I think you are. And it looks like someone ELSE here enjoys being mired in sarcasm and irony as well. I wasn't having a go at the American Eagle, it was actually the whole effect of the banner, which looked more suited to a banner waved on a patriotic march when it was actually on a website.
