So, is that classified simply as astigmatism, or do you get a much cooler scientific term to classify what sounds like a bit more extreme condition than mine? Oh, for the record, i've switched between glasses and contacts since 5th grade (about 13 years).
>I found my old glasses a couple of years ago, and tried to wear them, and found that I had some sort of weird double image thing going on. Very hard to describe. It gave me a headache VERY quickly. I have no idea how I survived childhood.
I had to switch to my old, clunky glasses in July, when the "looping starship" operator at the Six Flags Over Georgia dropped my good pair under the ride. This bigger pair does make me look more like Milo from that Atlantis movie, though. (Never saw it, so i'm still not sure whether the likeness is good or bad)
I think i'm gonna get contacts again this week, 'cause it's been about 2 years, and these glasses rub my nose terribly. > > Don "I wear my contact lens about one day out of every six months now" Monkey
Penny *used to think "legally blind" meant "not able to see" before coming to college and finding how many "blind" friends drive with glasses--yikes!* stamp
