That figures into the other idea that I had heard put forth elsewhere. The other scriptures that relate to it may be in Isaiah, but I honestly can't remember. Your point about the evenings and mornings is one that I agree is a strong point in favor of the literal six day interpretation.
It may be too early or too off-topic for this, but I am curious: How much importance do you (plural, not just Nyperold) place on your beliefs regarding Creation? Is there anyone here who looks at this issue as having importance beyond that of intellectual curiosity?
