As someone who did support and vote for President Bush, it's really good to see not only my faith in him justified by the way he has handled this and other crises, but also to see how America is almost universally putting aside political differences and uniting behind our leader right now.

In my 26+ years on this planet, I don't recall ever experiencing anything like it. I'm afraid I must admit to a certain degree of jaded cynicism regarding our government and it's political system, especially during the last election. But I see now how strong our republic really is, and I'm certainly proud of it. We've got what really counts, when it really counts.
