Well, all of you on the East Coast of America, anyway.

It's all to do with a massive tidal wave, some 500 metres high, that will hit the entire East of the USA, devastating all land for twenty miles and making roughly 40 million people homeless.

You can blame the Canary Islands for all of it.

I learnt all this from the BBC's excellent "Horizon" series of documentaries. Some time within the next three or so centuries, the island of La Palma will erupt, causing half of the volcano to slip into the sea. The sheer force of this willl create a tidal wave so large it will travel the whole width of the Atlantic to the Eastern coast of the US, where it will cause devastation on a scale never seen before.

I just thought I better warn you, so that if you hear news about a major eruption on the island of La Palma you'd know that the best thing you could do would be to drive as far away as possible.
