Well, even tho the CRX we were pulling for came in second, it was still fun. Actually, it wasn't so bad that it came in second because it was only 15 seconds behind an 800hp Paseo that was passing cars that were two classes above it.

I think you'd have liked this weekend, Howard. . They had every class of car . .stock cars, formula cars, GT-1,2,and 3 class road cars (the CRX was GT-3 class) and more. . And considering the $20 admission got you in to all races, and let you wander through the pits and talk to the crews, it was pretty reasonable entertainment.

Then after the races, the CRX club I'm in got to run a little road race ourself. You haven't had fun 'till you're going 121mph downhill, hit a 90 degree hairpin turn, brake to 70mph in less than a second, almost get yanked out of your seat by the forces in the turn, then blast out at 90mph. >:) Sure, because of all that I now need new tires, but it was worth it ;)
