Hear, hear, Monkeyman. You echo my sentiments exactly. I go out to only maybe two or three movies a year, and then primarily because friends/family want to go. There's hardly any movie I *have* to see, or have to see right away.
Although it's true, some movies *are* more fun to see with a crowd. But videos seem to fit my lifestyle better somehow...for instance, I confess I actually *fell asleep* while watching "The Phantom Menace" in a movie theater, had I waited until the video came out, at least I could have hit the rewind button. :-)
