It depends how old you were when you went to highschool. I would guess between 11-13 which would make you about a year over half the sum of my age and my father's age (and he's 40 years older than me). As for Else being in fifth grade in '55 - being a 'foriegner' I don't know how old someone is expected to be when in fifth grade (or any other grade come to that). I could find out I suppose, but I don't think that would be polite...
