I was wondering how long it would take before someone asked that question. Just under 46 minutes... Not bad.

The book is "I Kissed Dating Goodbye", by Joshua Harris. I discovered it by seeing an ad for its sequel, "Boy Meets Girl", and thought the first book suited my purposes better for now. I did buy both books, though, and plan to read "Boy Meets Girl" pretty much right after I finish IKDG.
