Is it possible that you hit 'back' with your browser and were viewing an outdated page? If that happens, and if you repeat the same action on the next-to-current page, then it doesn't give you the 'outdated page' warning. But if you hit 'back' and choose a different option, it will prompt you to reload the correct page (otherwise you'd be able to cheat).
