Hi everybody
Yep, its me again. The guy from Belgium.
First of all: i'm doing fine, terrific! I hope for you all the same! As some of you may remember: marriage for me is coming up! Home-construction too! So, busy times ...
Secondly: nope, i wont start posting again to this forum on a regular basis (no time, and not allowed to do so, hehe)
Thirdly: i've got a problem (again, hehe) I dont know if you, Americans, can help me, but i would appreciate it if you'd give it a thought...
(its rather technical, concerning faxes)
I got myself a CANON MULTIPASS C20 (for free, so i couldnt choose the marque or type; before you start judging me for the good or bad choice). In the US this probably wont be sold as a "Multipass C20", but nevermind. Its a fax who can print and copy, and so on (multi-tasking). I only use it as a fax and put it in the "Automatic Tel/fax MODE" (in which the fax detects if an incoming call is from a telephone or a fax). If a telephone is calling, the multipass is ringing and you can answer the call by taking an additional telephone (which i connected according to the manual). The question now is: can you let that additional telephone ring (instead of the multipass, or maybe both) in case of a phone-call? I know your answer will probably be: "go to a canon-site and find your answer there" Well, ive been there, searched there, called them, and didnt receive the appropriate answer (you know, computer helpdesks ...), and since i dont easily take 'no' for an answer ..., therefore i address my question to the bigger public -and now it comes- which i think is more intelligent ... Prove it!
In the mean time Greetings to all of u! And .. congratulations (are not ?) with your new president! (at least!)
